Writing meme

The rules are as follows: Go to page seven of your WIP, go to the

The most recent WIP I have longer than 7 pages is my Lionheart & Kid novel, so, page seven, line seven (their first meeting…)–

“I just tried to rob you, and you’re
inviting me to travel with you?” the thief scoffed.  “You would have me in the hands of the law
before the day ended.”

“Now, that ain’t true,” Lionheart
said.  He drew his weapon.  “This here is loaded, and I know how to use
it.  If I’d wanted to bring you in, I’d
have done it.”  He holstered the weapon
again.  “If you harbor suspicions against
me, well, that’s your affair; I’m not going to force you to go anywhere.  I was just trying to be friendly.”
