I was watching some of Mr. Sakurai’s demonstration of Spirits Mode and I couldn’t help but notice…

Oracles!Link and Moosh are available as spirits–there is Oracles representation; I have a chance at seeing my fave villain Veran in this pleasepleasepleaseplease she has never been in any other game–IT IS TIME.

(Also, we saw Antasma in the Direct, meaning Mario & Luigi series reps, so please give us Prince Peasley, too…)

Inktober for Writers challenge?  Done.

Halloween fic?  Done.

…All that’s left is NaNoWriMo.

…but I work full time now…

…Yeah, not going to be able to do the full 50,000 words this year.  I actually did hit the 50k goal last year, writing the first Lionheart & Kid novel… but even with 50k words, it still wasn’t done.

SO!  What I will do is attempt to finish the first Lionheart & Kid book–preferably again by Robert’s birthday, the 22nd!  I won’t get torn up if I miss it this year, since I am busy with other things, but I will give it my best shot!

Ok, so, the Crikey! It’s the Irwins show is every bit as awesome as I expected it to be–it’s basically an updated/current-day version of The Crocodile Hunter Diaries (which chronicled Steve & company’s life at Australia Zoo).

But what I absolutely love is, after seeing each of the humans have their on-screen nameplate introduction which is their name + their role at the zoo…

They give one to the croc; this is great, I love this, 12/10, would recommend.

Strothers’s former partner was more than a bit confident
about getting accepted as Beldon’s replacement, and so, on his way to meet with
Waverly, found Napoleon in the hall and dragged him to the nearest dimly-lit
room.

“Just listen to me now, Solo,” he hissed.  “I don’t care if you were found innocent or
not; when I become head of U.N.C.L.E. Berlin, I will see to it that you are
ousted from your position with as much pain and humiliation as I can see you
get!”

He left immediately, and Napoleon stood in stunned confusion—so
stunned, that he was completely unware that the dimly-lit room that the
unpleasant fellow had dragged him to was none other than the U.N.C.L.E. autopsy
room, and that Illya had been putting things away in a darkened corner of the
room—and had heard and seen the entire thing.
