Super Mario Bros. 3

In Super Mario Galaxy 2, there is a way to skip the last part of Rightside Down Galaxy simply by performing a backflip onto the wall surrounding the 2D segment from the small green platform right before the gravity arrows start, as depicted in the top image. Following the wall, a 1-Up Mushroom can be found, showing that this shortcut was intended. Here’s a fun fact for ya!

Bowser’s first appearance was in Super Mario Bros. for the original Nintendo Entertainment system. But not where you’d think. At the end of each level, Bowser would confront Mario to try and stop him himself… Or so it would seem.
If you defeat Bowser with the Fire Flower power up instead of the obvious axe behind him, Bowser would be revealed as a simple common enemy disguised as King Koopa using his magic. As a matter of fact, Bowser only makes his very initial appearance in the game and in the whole series… as the very final enemy of the game.

I read them on occasion but I only have three brain cells so I don’t read that many, unfortunately! I also haven’t read a single one for Mario, oops. I can recommend a friend of mine, @rose-of-pollux ! She writes some seriously good stuff – and if anyone else wants to plug their work I’m happy to check it out for you!
